Thuban is a code verification CLI tool and associated dashboard. The CLI runs locally on your machine. The dashboard is hosted at app.thuban.dev. These terms govern your use of both.

Prices are in USD. Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal — no lock-in, no exit fees, no phone call required.
Upon payment, you receive an Ed25519-signed license key via email. This key is personal to your account and must not be shared, redistributed, or published. One key per subscription. If you suspect your key has been compromised, contact us for a replacement.
The Free tier is genuinely free, with no time limit. It includes 200 scans per month and 3 projects. No credit card required. If you exceed the limits, scans will be blocked until the next billing cycle — you will never be charged without explicitly upgrading.
Thuban scans run entirely on your local machine. Your source code is never uploaded to, transmitted to, or stored on any Thuban server. You retain full ownership and control of your code at all times. See our Privacy Policy for details.

The CLI runs locally and does not depend on our servers (except for license validation). The dashboard is provided on a best-effort basis. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime for the dashboard or API.
Support is provided via email at support@thuban.dev. Enterprise plan subscribers receive priority support with a target response time of 24 hours on business days.
Thuban is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that scans will detect all code quality issues, security vulnerabilities, or defects. Thuban is a tool to assist your development process, not a replacement for professional code review, security auditing, or testing.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thuban's total liability for any claim arising from or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Thuban, including its CLI, dashboard, documentation, and branding, is the intellectual property of Thuban. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the software for the duration of your subscription.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
