By using Thuban ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. Thuban is operated by Orionos AI Ltd. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Thuban is a command-line code health engine. It scans, analyses, and optionally fixes source code files on your local machine. It runs entirely locally — your code is never transmitted to our servers.
License keys are tied to a machine identifier stored locally in ~/.thuban/. One license per machine unless otherwise agreed.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly. You may cancel at any time from your Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your current billing period, then revert to the free tier.
All fixes already applied to your code remain — they are in your files. All reports already generated remain on your machine. You lose access to Pro/Team features only.
thuban telemetry --on. It is disabled by default. No code, file paths, or personally identifiable information is ever transmitted.Thuban's auto-fix feature modifies source files on your machine. By using --fix, you accept responsibility for reviewing the changes. We strongly recommend:
thuban fix . (dry run) to preview changes first--commit to create reversible git commitsThuban is not liable for any issues caused by auto-fix modifications to your code.
Thuban is distributed via npm and runs locally. We do not guarantee uptime of the npm registry, GitHub Pages website, or Stripe payment processing, as these are third-party services.

Thuban is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of Thuban, including but not limited to data loss, code corruption, or business interruption. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid for Thuban in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We may update these terms. Continued use of Thuban after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be announced on thuban.dev.
